The list was endless, but these days, we found ourselves a new muse; space. Mars, to be precise. Hurrah! The good news was that as of June 2023, commercial space flights had actually commenced. Trips were scheduled to go monthly, and you could buy tickets for a voyage into space with Virgin Galactic. They were currently on sale. Well, guess what? Our next trip was destination Mars, and we couldn’t wait to step into big astronaut-like outfits, gas cylinders strapped to our backs; to see what it felt like to be out of touch with gravity; to know how food tasted in space, to see what the Spaceport on Mars looked like, or how it felt to be up there.
