“The children are independent and gone! Bring out the passports and travel documents, dear! Pack a suitcase here and a suitcase there; it’s time to perambulate around the world!” And perambulate we did! Ten whole years of traveling. First, we thought we would tour the Caribbean islands; Dominica, Barbados, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and St. Lucia, with their sandy beaches, rain forests, volcanic mountains, and clear blue water. We explored the Indian Ocean; Mauritius, Madagascar, and Seychelles, with their great beaches, coral reefs, and wonderful street food.
