F A N T A July Prelude I n his early days in secondary school, a young man, Augustus Eduafo, nowknown as Dr. Fanta, found himself caught in a daring escapade to watch the Italian action-comedy movie “The Three Fantastic Supermen.” Sneaking out with seniors, they were discovered by the imposing Senior Housemaster, Mr. C. O. Johnson. Confessions unfolded, and punishments were meted out, with Dr. Fanta, then a freshman, singled out for his “reckless behavior.” The incident marked the birth of his enduring nickname, “Fantaaastic,” later shortened to “Fanta.” The nickname, born out of an escapade to witness the extraordinary exploits of three superheroes, became a permanent part of his identity. The taunts of “Fantaaastic” on that fateful night have evolved into a moniker that has stuck with him through the years. Friends even affectionately refer to him as “Fantastic Fanta.” Years passed since that daring escapade, and as ‘Fantastic Fanta’ evolved into Dr. Fanta, the moniker became a symbol of resilience and joy. His faith in God played a pivotal role during challenging times, especially when he faced the loss of his first wife, Tina. Dr. Fanta candidly shared, “I believed in God at a time but wavered when I lost my first wife, Tina.
