There is something about birthdays that helps you reflect, and turning 50 in May was no exception—50! Wow! Every one of those years has been a gift from God. When I look back at my current fitness, I am humbled by the journey that spans over 5 years. Here are a few tips that have helped me on this journey Establish a Routine - This is always a challenge for many. Most of my mentors preferred exercising at dawn, and that required being diligent with organising. Planning your next day could start simply by picking your clothes for the gym and setting your alarm. Set Realistic Goals - “At your own pace” is what I seldom say to new fitness and well-being converts! It’s not a race; instead, you are establishing a new long-term lifestyle. My focus has always been to be a better version of myself. So, leave your ego at the door and start small. Find Enjoyable Activities - My love for music has been a great part of my journey.
