in the power of networking. Interestingly, most of my friends are sixty years and above, fromwhom I draw immense inspiration. For example, my business partner in ALEXpay, Jacques, was seventy-eight years old when we collaborated. We complemented each other perfectly, with my energy, zeal, and innovative ideas, and his wealth of experience. While I have the drive, I often lack the life experience my older friends offer, and I find it challenging to relate to peers. With the exception of friends like Yakubu Abdul Razak, aka DJ Dompe, and Reginald, a schoolmate of mine, most of my close friends are of an older generation. I aspire to build a business empire to create wealth for my children, their descendants, my extended family, and my siblings. I am the first-generation wealth creator in my family, and I take my responsibilities seriously. I am particularly close to my brothers and sisters, and I want to see Ace Line thrive. Furthermore, I hope to start a family, finding a wonderful woman who will accept my twin boys and have more children with me. At times, I ponder whether I have grown too comfortable with being single, but I remain hopeful that a loving partner can integrate into my life. God and God Alone Regarding spirituality, I consider myself more spiritual than religious. I attend church occasionally and acknowledge that all I have received is fromGod. When I was a struggling young man in a rural setting, I sought God’s guidance and found a way forward. Even when I arrived in Accra without a place to sleep, God provided for me. I believe that God has rewarded my heart and remains a source of guidance and strength. In moments of confusion or when I do not understand the circumstances, I turn to prayer, knowing that I am spiritually protected. Moses with extended family 43 The Birthday Journal
