Throughout my journey, I’ve faced moments of both triumph and adversity, and each experience has woven into the fabric of my character. My willingness to step up, compete, and sometimes stumble along the way has cultivated a spirit of resilience within me. I’ve come to understand that in both victory and defeat, there are invaluable lessons to be learned, character to be fortified, and personal growth to be achieved. A Stint with the Ghana Mission There I stood in awe, face to face with the Ghanaian President, engaging in conversation. I pinched myself to ensure I wasn’t dreaming. It was 2011, and President Mills was visiting my school to deliver a speech. Someone had recommended me to him as a Ghanaian student and President of the Student Government. Alongside the Ambassador, we had a pleasant conversation. At the meeting’s end, he suggested, “You should find him a role to serve our country.” Subsequently, I was invited to work at the Ghana Mission to the United Nations in 2011, where I worked for five years. A Conglomerate Is Born “God bless our homeland Ghana!” I enthusiastically sang with a group of Ghanaians at a Philadelphia stadium.
