I met Yaa Yaa on Tech Campus, and she has been my mother by all standards. She has always been reliable, ready to support, taking care of all my children, and showing up — especially when times were tough. Her favourite words are Nyame bɛ kyere. She has taught me so much — including learning to let go when someone disappoints you. There are countless funny and light-hearted moments with her that still make me smile. Energetic, wise, and supportive, Yaa Yaa is truly my mother in every sense of the word. And honestly, how could anyone have a misunderstanding with a woman like her —my mother, for that matter? This question should be passed on. Next!! Yaa Yaa, thank you for being there for me rain or shine. You know the love is deep! God bless you with long life and good health as you celebrate this incredible milestone of 80 years. Tena Dadson 84 The Birthday Journal
