It is with great joy that I wishmy dear friend and sister, Monica Asante, a very happy 80th birthday andmany happy returns! Monica is a kind, generous, and ever-ready-to-help person in all aspects of life. The Lord brought us together when we—Charlotte Baffour Senkyire, Matilda Dadzie (of blessedmemory), and sweet Monica—found ourselves living on the same road, Akroso Road on Tech Campus. Those days were filled with joy, laughter, and countless happy memories shared among our families. Monica’s son, Chief, andmy son, Charles, remain close friends even today, now both in their 50s! Monica, the story of the meat in the fridge will be told later. Monica shines brightest when someone is stressed, troubled, or in need of guidance or advice. Her God-given gift of wisdom, empathy, and practical support brings comfort and solutions to every challenge. I recall when I lost my husband’s brother—she graciously accompaniedme to DuayawNkwanta, offering support and care during that difficult time. Monica is truly a gem, a wonderful person who deserves all the love and celebration on this special milestone. I thank God for her life and for the genuine friendship she has shownme. Together withmy children, we wish her continued happiness, good health, and abundant blessings. Give her kisses on both cheeks for me! Charlotte Baffour Senkyire Happy 80thBirthday,Monica! What stands out tome is how you always have a smile on your face, and your smile was — and I’m sure still is — contagious. As you celebrate this milestone birthday, may the Lord continue to bless you. Mrs. Ruby Halm I cannot say exactly when we first met. I’ve always known you— since childhood. You have always been part of my family, close friends withmy parents, and I’ve known your pretty, smiling face all my life. All I know is you’ll ask the same question as many times as someone tries to evade it until you get a proper answer. You’ve taught me to take good care of myself and to always smile, because it is a reflection of my thoughts. AuntieMonica, you are graceful, pretty, and happy. Thank you for being a part of my family. Your love for us has been genuine and unconditional. May the good Lord continue to bless and grant you the desires of your heart.
