Monica 80 Magazine

I remember AuntieMonica frommy childhood days at Tech, where she was a good friend of my mum. They worked together at the nursery school, and she often visited our home. Seeing her again in Kumasi this year was truly heartwarming — she was as caring and friendly as ever. When I met her in Kumasi, she invitedme to attend Mass with her at the Catholic Church. That brought back wonderful memories of growing up at Tech, when we used to go to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. While visiting her neighbour, Prof. Owusu Addo, withmy husband, I was eager to attendMass that Sunday. When I mentioned it to her, she kindly offered to take me along. I was very grateful for that thoughtful gesture. At church, I noticed howwell known and loved she was by the parishioners — a true reflection of her warmth and friendliness. May God bless you always, AuntieMonica. You are a wonderful and pleasant lady whose kindness leaves a lasting impression.
