Monica 80 Magazine

Hello AuntyMonica, Thank you so much for everything you do for me, especially after my mother passed. She is surely watching down on you with gratitude and thanks. I am so blessed to have you in my life, AuntyMonica. Your continuous show of motherly love and care in so many ways is very much appreciated. Even when you are travelling, you call to make sure I am okay. When I felt sick at church and had to be rushed to the hospital, you were travelling then, but youmade sure I was well taken care of. And you called so often to check on me until you got back. Your extreme thought, concern, and help from afar will remain in my heart forever. I look forward to seeing you at church every Sunday. I wish you God’s abundant blessings and good health as you celebrate your 80th birthday. Love, Kwame Owusu It’s been 35 years since I met my angel and mentor in life, Mrs. Monica Asante, at Ahodwo Nyiaeso. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for everything she has done for me. There truly are no words to capture howmuch your kindness and unwavering support mean to me, but I hope this birthday wish to you offers a glimpse of my gratitude. A courageous and motivated person she is. Happy, happy birthday to you, my mother and my mentor. Wishing you good health, long life, and prosperity. May the Almighty God continue to bless you for the kind-hearted person you are. I really appreciate what you have done for me and are still doing for me. You are the reason I amwho I am today — thank you very much. You are indeed a woman and a lady of substance. Once again, a very big happy birthday to you, Mrs. Monica Asante. I love you so much. Mr. John BanBanvo I’ve known GrandmaMonica my whole life. She has been in my life since I was in diapers. She is funny, motherly, and an angel. One of my favourite memories with her is fromwhen I was little. I scribbled on the walls with a pencil. Grandma brought me a sponge and soapy water and made me scrub all the pencil marks off the wall. I never drew on the walls again, and I loved her for that. A funny moment that still makes me smile is when I needed some money to buy something (I can’t remember what). Grandma gave me what I needed and told me that one day, when I start working, I’d have to pay her back. I still think about it to this day, and I’ll definitely repay her ten times over because I love her so much. I want to thank her for taking care of us whenever she came to visit. We were probably a handful, but she handled it all with grace and love. Happy Birthday, Grandma! May God continue to shower you with love and blessings. I hope you enjoy your day to the fullest.
