One of my most memorable moments with you was on a trip to the KNUSTCatholic Church. I was 7 years old then. Apparently, you had been attending that church for almost half a century! On that day, you asked me to recite Psalm23 during the ride from your home at Nhyiaeso to KNUST. I could only recite half of it, and you had a good laugh the whole way. Grandma, the Lord is indeed my shepherd; I lack nothing, as it says in Psalm23. And just so you know, with new technology, I can speak to my Bible app and recite along with the verses. Grandma, your usual instructions — “Go and wash the dishes,” “Have you laid your bed?” “Is the sink clean?” — have stayed with me. Nowmy bed is always neatly laid, and though I’m still working on the dishes, I think you’d be proud! I’ve seen you so happy during special moments like my First Communion and your birthdays. The only time I remember you looking sad was when the DStv wasn’t working and you couldn’t watch your 8 p.m. UTV show. You are always happy and joyful. You always smile and keep a positive attitude, and that really inspires me. Thank you, Grandma, for all the gifts and the love you’ve shown me. But I’m still patiently waiting for my iPhone 16, and I’m sure Uncle Chief will be my advocate! Happy 80th birthday once again, Grandma. You are such a blessing to me.
