67 February 2022 The Birthday Journal I believe I’m a God chosen vessel through which other lives can be touched! And for that I’m very grateful. How did you ensure that the party atmosphere reflected your personality and interests? I just had to be me! I am the life of a party, so I had to just be lively as usual! I love to dance, so once I got dancing from the onset I knew the guests will feel equally relaxed and join in! I also made sure that key aspects of my life were well represented, such as, my Sekondi-Takoradi roots by having Kofi Kinata turn the party up! My vandal mates made sure their voices were heard. My Presec Odade3 mates represented big time; and my Morning Star School mates also turned up! It was a memorable day, and one for the ages! MyWife was very instrumental in making it all happen and I’m very grateful to her! I thank my siblings for their key roles, especially my big sister, Becky, and younger brother, Rex, for traveling from the US to grace the occasion. Big thanks to my two closest buddies, Hon AndrewMercer aka Bobo and pilot Captain John Asare Ababio aka Abe, and the rest of the crew for their support in diverse ways. It was heart-warming to see a sizable number of my Nigerian colleagues, clients and friends attend! To all my guests and vendors, I say a big “thank you.” Last but not the least, I thank ‘The Birthday Journal’ team, for giving me an opportunity to tell my life story in a manner that can hopefully inspire others to overcome setbacks and pursue their dreams diligently!
